It's a family affair at Diamond E Ranch...
Jerry and Laura Entzminger, Owners
Jerry and Laura Entzminger started Diamond E Ranch in 1979 and up until 2006 the couple each held full time jobs off the farm. Jerry now works the ranch full time, and Laura works at Dunrovin Lodge, a Senior's Care Residence in Quesnel, when she's not working on the ranch.

Daughter and Grandchildren
Daughter Katrenia rocks a tired helper to sleep, while the other children relax after a busy day. The Entzmingers are a close knit family. At "sugaring off time", everyone pitches in to help, even if it's just a word of encouragement or a sigh of content at the sweet caramel smell wafting from the Sugar Shack.
Katrenia's husband, Adam, watches over the evaporation process in the Sugar Shack. Each step in the evaporation process must be carefully orchestrated to ensure a superior result when complete.
Although she is now a teen, granddaughter Skyla learned at a young age that it takes a lot of firewood to keep the evapourator running optimally in the Sugar Shack.
Laura's mother Florence (82 years old) takes part in the Sugaring Off each year. Here she helps wash and disinfect equipment in readiness for sap collection.
The Entzminger's son, Kelly checks a sap bucket with niece Skyla. It looks like this bucket is nearly full!
